Strange Cuisine

One of my goals in life has been to eat as many strange foods as possible. Of late I have been trying to document this. So here are a few of my recent excursions in the the world of Geteimono (innedible foods). Raw Oysters in Miyajima, a hot dog wrapped in egg from the Tanabatta festival, and liver sashimi at a yaki niku restaurant. Also featured here is Luke munching down on a ridiculously long sauasage.

Joe:

These so-called strange foods don't hold a candle to the ones I heard about on NPR---like cheese with microscopic maggots. I'll send you a link to the program.
