Oyama

These are pictures from my hike up Mt. Oyama (if you speak Japanese you know that's redundant). This was my first real viewing of Fuji San as well, a truly euphoric moment as I was completely dehydrated and semi-delusional. Wish I had made it to the top to take some panoramas.

Around Hadano

This is the mall that I work at. The infamous Jusco.

A bundle of telephone wires.

This was my first sighting of Fuji san. A monumental moment.

Isehara at Harvest Time

These pictures were taken in the area surrounding the place where I work. It is harvest time and the wheat has been cut and dried while the ground is being burned so that it will be fertile in following years.

Back in Action

I finally got my Blog back up and running. These are the pictures from the Hadano Tobaccop Festival, an event that takes place annually in the town I work in. There are many more to come.

Back in Action

So I am back in the US for one month before I am off to Japan for a year. Since I have nothing to do and I promised pictures, here they are, the first batch of photos from my trip around Asia. Since I shot over five thousand images, it takes quite a while to sift through them all.

Traveling Southeast Asia

Sorry for the long amount of time with no post, though I'm not really sure who reads this. I tried many hours to put my movie up on the website, but was not able to. I probably need to convert it to a different format. In other news, though, I am currently in Bangkok finishing off the third week out of a two month tour. I am with my mate James and we have been having an amazing time. THough I did not bring my professional camera, I did bring a nice portable, so when I have time I will upload some of the pictures I have been taking. Peace from the Far East.
