These are the Public Murals in Yoyogi Park which can be seen when crossing from Shibuya into Harajuku. Wish we had more stuff like this in America.

Asakusa Matsuri

I finally was able to get out on a day off and go to a Matsuri. This is the Asakusa Matsuri, probably the most touristy, though still totally worth it if for no other reason than to see the Mikoshi teams carry portable shrines down the street. These are my best pictures from the event.
