These are pictures from my trip to Enoshima Beach. I walked along the beach snapping photos of locals and then headed out to the island where I watched the fishermen and visited the temples. I'm partically fond of the dogs and the demons.
These are pictures from my hike up Mt. Oyama (if you speak Japanese you know that's redundant). This was my first real viewing of Fuji San as well, a truly euphoric moment as I was completely dehydrated and semi-delusional. Wish I had made it to the top to take some panoramas.
These pictures were taken in the area surrounding the place where I work. It is harvest time and the wheat has been cut and dried while the ground is being burned so that it will be fertile in following years.
I finally got my Blog back up and running. These are the pictures from the Hadano Tobaccop Festival, an event that takes place annually in the town I work in. There are many more to come.
